Well, it's been a whole month since I've written anything. Last week was Father's Day and my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I remember when my grandparents celebrated their 50th...I thought they were old! Now here are my parents and I guess I'm getting "older" but my parents don't look as old as my grands did. We had a huge party for them with lots of food, mariachis and a dj. We did the stroll, cupid shuffle, the hustle and electric slide and a tradition in mexican weddings, the "march". We planned for 200 people and I think close to that showed up. It was fun to see people we haven't seen in a long time. I don't have all the pics on the computer yet so I'll add as I get them on.
These old pictures have never been seen before. I found an 8 mm film of my grandfather's and these were on it among other pics. I was going to surprise my mom with a DVD of her wedding reception but it didn't get done on time from Costco. She'll still be surprised! The picture of them on the car was taken while they were dating and the present pic was taken at their 50th high school reunion in 2007. It was really cool to see the old movie! (sorry I added one twice...I don't know how to take it off :( oh well) By the way, the picture on the car war taken March 14, 1957.
