We got a new scanner and had to try it out.  What a better picture to do that with.  These are my babies.  Tatiana will be 23 this November and Madison turns 21 on Sunday.  In this picture, taken in the Spring of 1989, Tatiana is 3 and Mad is 1.  I love this picture!  You're probably wondering about that gap in Tatiana's smile...at the daycare center where I worked and they attended, Tatiana was playing on the monkey bars and slipped, breaking one of her front teeth is three different places.  She had oral surgery to remove the whole tooth and was toothless until her permanent one came in.  She never had to have braces and her teeth are as straight as can be.  A story about Madison and the dress she has on...I was working as assistant manager at the day care and was closing this one night.  One of the fathers came in to pick up his daughter and just stopped dead in his tracks and said, "who is that cute little girl?"  I had to look around the corner to see who he was talking about and there was Madison with her little yellow dress and flower-laced leotards.  She was the cutest thing!  The reason why I love this picture so much is because of the girls' smiles.  They are the most beautiful thing to me, so precious.  Even now, my favorite sound is the laughter that comes from each of them when they are together.  Just a side note...Madison never smiled for anyone when taking a picture.
