The weather tracker had Ike headed right towards us but luckily it went to the east of us to Tyler. We had winds and rain but nothing serious. Our pond is full again so that's good. The fish, frogs, turtles and snakes are happy campers once again!

That is scary!!! I would not like to live somewhere where that had hurricanes and tornato's. I am gald to hear it didn't get to you guys:)
We are so glad that your family is safe. We survived 3 hurricanes when we lived in Florida and the "Big One-Floyd" barely missed us... scary times. How on earth did you guys ever end up in Texas anyway?
