So, I went to the doc again today. My bite did turn into a staph infection. Don went with me today because I felt I needed some support there 'cause I knew it was going to hurt like crazy when they pulled this gauze out. So, Don's sitting in the corner of the exam room all nice and comfy and the doc just digs right it and starts pulling this thing out. Talk about pain!!! It could almost be compared to a hard contraction. The doc and the nurse both ask me "are you ok?" or "how you doing". The only thing I hear Don say is "holy cow!" Apparently the gauze that was pulled out was the longest thing he had ever seen coming out of an opening so small. Ya, no words of comfort while I was shedding a few tears and pounding the wall...he was in shock. Hey! Shouldn't I be the one in shock?

Guys?! YOu poor thing, why wouldn't they give you pain meds. before they started torturing you?! I hope its all over!
Wow, what kinda spider was that? I hope I never see one or get bit by one. And make sure Don holds your hand while you go through any kind of torture again! That's his job!! Anyways, I hope you get better! love ya, Andie
I feel so bad. I didn't know it was that bad. Please call if you need anything. I can go with you. You can squeeze my hand through the pain. I hope that it will start to feel better.
ahh ewww! Isn't that the worse feeling. My doctor had to stab me lke 6 times just to get it numb and I still felt it. Chris was the same way, he just said gross! Does it feel better yet? At least you went to the doc as soon as you did.
