HAPPY BIRTHDAY TATIANA!!!

23 years ago, November 10, Tatiana was born.  She was named after a little girl that Don knew in Colombia when he was on his mission.  We even have a picture of her.  We loved that name and we new as soon as we saw her that her other name we had picked out didn't fit her but Tatiana did.  My first words about her was "she has bongo lips".  I know...not something a loving mother should say but she did have big, smooshed lips.  Luckily she was blessed with those nice lips and not my little lips.  Tatiana didn't have any hair when she was born but by a year old she was a red head with lots of curls.  Not the bright red but a really pretty red.  Later on she would develop those beautiful freckles that she would hate but is such a big part of her.  We call them "angel kisses".  Tatiana was a busy baby!  Moving to Alaska when she was 6 months old, she never was on a schedule and probably has been messed up ever since.  She wouldn't sleep like other kids but when she did she slept all night at a very young age.  She didn't grow up in AK, but we moved around quite a bit when she was little.  Like I said, she was busy...always on the go!!  There was never a dull moment.  When her little sister was born, she was the best big sister ever!  She always had to take care of "Prechious"  Tatiana was the dramatic one but a tough one at the same time.  When she was 6, she and some friends were running in the church halls, going in and out of the gym where we were playing volleyball.  As always, when someone runs where they're not suppose to, they get hurt.  Tatiana's face bumped into a little girl's forehead and broke her nose.  She was all black and blue and had two black eyes.  We had to wait a week before the doctor could reset it.  I remember her in the hospital, so little and scared.  She's a trooper though.  It was this time in Parker, AZ that she came to love New Kids On The Block.  She, Madison and their cousin Malia would practice the dance moves and perform or sing them for everyone.  Tatiana loved to sing.  And she was passionate about singing.  She was in middle school choir and Freshman choir in Oregon and one year at Mt. View in AZ.  Tatiana was also passionate about volleyball.  She was quite the little player too.  Her high school coach in Oregon wanted her to stay and live with her (we were moving to AZ) so that she could play varsity.  Fortunately, for us, Tatiana moved to AZ with us and is now married to a volleyball player.  In 5th grade Tatiana also traveled to Japan with the elementary school.  She was brave.  Tatiana in a nutshell, is funny, goofy, spontaneous, loving, giving, compassionate, and her smile is contagious.  She is a blessing and I'm thankful for her.  Happy Birthday Mi'ja!  I love you!!!
