My mom and cousin, who was visiting my mom in Phx, came to visit us.  They were here for a week.  I didn't take many pictures while they were here but here are a few from their short stay.  I thought I had more pictures to add but they are still on my camera.

In all the times that I've driven between Phoenix and Dallas I never thought to stop at the Meteor Crator.  I knew it couldn't be like the one in AZ but we thought oh let's go check it out.  Ya, I'm sure at one time it was this deep whole in the ground but now it doesn't look like much.  If you've ever been to the one in AZ you'll be disappointed by this one.  Oh well.  It still was interesting little museum, if you like that kind of stuff.  I did take Scruffs for a walk through the middle of the crater.  It's practically filled in now but the arial shot of it still tells you that a meteor hit here.

This is one of the trail entrances...there's only two and it takes a few minutes to walk the trail.
