It's late but...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!!  I have to apologize to my nephew for not blogging his birthday on time.  We have so many August birthdays in the family that I couldn't remember which day was who's but I did remember Adam's on his day.  I usually try to put a picture of the kids when they were babies or really little but my computer isn't scanning right now so I'll have to post that one later.  But as for Adam now...Adam just turn 17!!!  He doesn't have his license yet but he's working on it.  He would tell you "I already know how to drive" which he does.  He just can't do it legally yet.  Adam is probably the craziest, goofiest of us all.  He came out that way.  I can't remember how old he was but I know we weren't living in AZ at the time but he was into Mortal Combat (the old one) and there was a phrase in there that he would always say to me on the phone.  Being so little, I really couldn't understand him and so I thought he would say "hallagens"....I had no idea what that meant but when I would repeat it to him he would just giggle and giggle.  He thought that was the funniest thing because I would say it that way.  To this day I still don't remember what he was talking about.  Adam is a senior this year.  Crazy to think that time is flying by.  He plays the guitar and the piano...self taught for both and is very gifted at that.  He's been in a couple of bands and has started a new one recently although I don't think he has a name for it yet.  He's into the screamo stuff but the music is really good.  He even writes his stuff.  Adam is the baby of the grandkids.  He's my sister's youngest.  He's a huge kid...taller that anybody in the fam.  He's pretty proud of that too.  Adam is a good kid.  He has a kind heart that you wouldn't know existed in this giant of a boy...turning into a man.  He has a gentle smile, infectious laugh, and a quick sense of humor.  I love you, Scooter!  (Only I can call him that!

I stand corrected....Adam called me to correct my spelling of Mortal Kombat...with a K...and to send me some new pictures in which he is better looking....

Adam is a duner...he's been duning since he was in the womb.  This is at the sand dunes outside of Yuma, AZ..I think they're called the Imperial Sand Dunes (in CA).
