The Arboretum

This year at the Dallas Arboretum for the Dallas Blooms, we were a little early for all the tulips.  The daffodils were beautiful, though, so I was still able to get a few good pics.  We were able to take the missionaries serving in our ward...it was their "P" day so don't get too worried.  We had a picnic and had a good time.  When we walked in, the girls saw all these kids with their face painted so naturally they wanted to do it to.  Unfortunately the line was too long so Madison told them she would paint their faces at home.  The pics at the end tell that story.  There's a lot of pics but it wouldn't be me if there wasn't tons of pics.  Humor me...
The petting zoo...

This guy had a name but I don't remember it.
Sisters Aston and Davy...funny story about Aston...her mission is in Nauvoo and the surrounding areas.  Last summer, our youth conference was a trip to Nauvoo.  Well, Aston was our tour guide at Carthage Jail!  I recognized her when I went to pick them up from a meeting just after transfers.  In April she'll go back to her mission in Nauvoo.

Cheese puffs anyone?

I thought these colors were pretty cool.

Madison was not feeling well but I got her to sort of smile for one picture.

I'm sure people were wondering who these crazy ladies were.  Aston was posing while Davy took her picture...then I started snapping...it really was funny!
