Bailey, got sick. Jaxon got sick. Madison got sick, then Antonio, Malia, Jelia, my dad, Debbie, Phoenyx, Benjamin, Kiki, Madison again, Antonio again, and then me. It was just a stomach bug but it was bad for some of us. I think Macie even got it because one night she threw up really bad. She had only been home a day! It was a fun two weeks for Madison with three of them being sick most of the time.
I said it was a busy month...my cousin Brittney graduated from ASU, my nephew, Adam, graduated from high school (he's the baby), Adam and his band had their first gig, Malia's birthday, gave Madison an un-babyshower, Jelia was promoted from Kindergarten, Chris played in Nationals (volleyball) which, lucky for us, was held in Phx this year, and in between all that, Macie Ann was born on Mother's Day. On June 6th, Chris blessed her in Sacrament meeting.
Another thing that we became aware of was the Jaxon has tons of allergies! He's allergic to: wheat, potatoes, soy, oats, corn, baker's yeast, strawberries, carrots, apples, oranges. He's suffered from eczema for most of his short two years. He scratches himself until he bleeds. At night he gets covered in vaseline because the Aveeno they were using was making things worse (now we know...oats) and then he has to wear socks on his little arms so he won't scratch. I slept in the boy's room so at night I would wake up to his scratching because he worked his socks off his arms. Poor little guy! Now comes the challenge for Tatiana and Chris to find and cook things he can eat. All this came after Macie was born so you can imagine the struggle to have a newborn and find out your son can't eat all that he's been eating anymore. The hope is that Jaxon will grow out of most of these allergies but in the meantime I know it will be difficult, especially for Jaxon.
And lastly, my mom has tons of polyester that she's been saving throughout the years and she started cutting them in squares to make them into quilts. She also had jeans saved up to do the same. Well, I took a lot of her jean squares and made myself a quilt. I usually make things for other people but this time I decided to be selfish. After that I started quilts for the grandkids. Bailey got a Tinkerbell quilt with polyester fabric mixed in and Jaxon got Scooby Doo. Jaxon loved his he slept with it the first night he saw it. I am working on Bryson's (scooby also) and Jordan's is going to be bright pink flowers although she has already told me she doesn't like the flowers because she wants Disney princess. It was fun to be able to sew with my mom.

Sweet babies
Love this face!
Scarey!
At "Jump and Shout"
Madison didn't want a babyshower so we gave her an un-babyshower...with family and a few friends. It was good.
We went walking at Freestone Park to see if we couldn't help the labor along. Tatiana had been having some good contractions but then they would stop. This was May 7th. The boys loved the ducks. There were even some baby ducks that came out with their parents to say hello!
Giving comfort...Tatiana did great during labor. Her first two were hard but this one was easy peasy lemon squeezy...so she says.
Mother's Day! Tatiana's doc is LDS and so he came dressed for church. After he delivered Macie he said that if he speeds he could make it to church on time. He was a great doctor for her. The only pics I have of him are him delivering the baby...I don't think Tatiana would like for me to post those. :)
I just had to put both of these of Tatiana because they are so precious.
My friend, Buffy, made this little onesie for Macie. She's awesome!
My mom with five of her seven great-grandchildren. Funny thing is, all these are my grandchildren! I love it!
More pics to come. I think this is enough for us to handle right now. But don't you worry! I know you're dying for more! hehe
