Jelia goes to Texas!

My sister and her granddaughter, Jelia, came to visit us for two weeks during Spring Break.  Most of the time it was cold or raining.  Jelia had been here once before two and a half years ago when Jordan was born.  She was only two then so it was different this time.  We went fishing but she wasn't too hip on getting down and dirty with the worms or the fish.  We had fun just relaxing and playing.
Jelia loved to tease Scruffs.  She would take Scruffs toy away from her and run down the hall to make Scruff chase her.  Then they would play keep-away.
Totally into drama and dressing up.

A great discovery...CHEESE CURDS!  Even though AZ now has a Culver's, we always have to go and at least get some rootbeer just because they one of two places that makes their own rootbeer that we know of.  Cheese curds and ranch....yummy.

Where's Shakira?

He, 0r she, who has the treat is always in command.

Our neighbor has horses and a cute little miniature pot belly pig named Daisey.  The horses name is Rooster.  Jelia isn't around animals much except dogs so these guys were scary for her.  Daisey was a little stinker because she got mad at her owner.

This girl is going to be a photographer when she grows up.  The above pics are ones she took. There were tons more that she took...of the cows, the truck stereo, her legs, the backs of our heads in the truck, the truck seats, more of herself, an eyeball, her  mouth or nose, etc.  She had fun.  Good thing for digital!
