For two weeks we had been trying to get Jelia to just go outside to play...by herself..but she wouldn't do it unless one of us went with her. Then she got this umbrella and it sprinkled. She went out all by herself and had fun. Another day we found her outside with a stray puppy that wanted to get into our yard. Lucky for us, the puppy couldn't come in. Scruffs just followed her around.

We went to the Arboretum for Dallas Blooms and this is what we saw...beautiful!

We also saw a lot of storybook houses. They were really cool. I put a bunch of pictures on my facebook so you can check those out there too.

Jelia looks so cute here. When we first walked in the gate I made her take a picture. That's probably why three hours later she didn't want her picture taken. I didn't get any pictures of her playing in the little play village they have there. We took a ride on the wagon that was pulled by two huge horses but she didn't want to take a picture with the horses afterwards. It was a fun day and she didn't complain at all..except for the pictures. There were tons of people and she wanted to make friends with all the kids there.

Jelia and I had fun washing my truck. I think she like walking in the mud the best.

I love the lighting on this picture. Jelia kept asking if the fish could come out to where the pond overflowed. I always told her no but didn't tell her of the time we found a fish near the fence in a small puddle...oh well!

I was squatting down fishing so she had to do it too. Don't be deceived by this little fishing pole. It has caught a pretty good sized bass. None of the fish liked us this day.

The dogs, one morning, were just barking and barking the usual bark that tells us they have some sort of animal cornered. Sure enough they had this poor little possum surrounded. Debbie was excited to get out there and snap this picture. I thought for sure that he was going to be a snack but Deb said the dogs finally just left it alone. (I had a meeting or something so could see the end result)
